The Tahoe's Sinking

Did you know that the 'Tahoe' was finally found where they scuttled it? Down about 650 feet or so. One diver said it looked like they beat it with sledgehammers to make it sink. A sad end.

One of the main reason it is so damaged is actually that part of the superstructure of the ship broke loose and floated to Tahoe City. The Bliss family actually did their best to preserve the ship and sink it in shallow water so it could be recovered with minimal funding. However, it slid down from the target spot into deeper water, hence the depth and damage.
