Trouble with TRS2004 Reinstall

Hi Guys,

After a long hiatus, I have tried to install TRS04 on an extended-partition harddrive.

The problem is that it keeps crashing on exit. I suspect it has to do with something in the way that Trainz writes files, so I tried examining the software logs.

There is a problem with a temp file in my local settings, called WERald1.dir00, whenever TRS04 attempts to close from the E drive and come back into the primary C drive. When the system runs a harddrive scan, it shows following error message:

One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You
may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended
that you continue.
Windows will now check the disk.

Checking file system on E:
The type of the file system is FAT32.
I even checked for conflicts in the NET architecture using dxdiag (and fixed a registry problem!), but this did not solve the BSD.

Does anyone have any suggestions for installing TRS04 on partitioned FAT32 file structure? My C drive is NTFS. This problem does not occur using TRS06.

Thanks!
