Can't Install multiple cdps

Hi, first of all, I've been playing Trainz (with big pauses) since TRS 2004 and nothing like this has ever happened.

I've bought TRS 22 about a month ago and was pleased with it (I hate Trainz 19) until they "updated" it and the incompatible spline bug occurred.
Trying to fix, I completely broke the database to the point where I had to delete it and reinstall the game.
After the reinstallation another strange bug occurred, that doesn't allow me to install more cdp files (I have thousands of them download from 3rd party sites) at once with just drag and dropping them into the content manager. If I select, let's say 100 of them only the file under my cursor unpacks and the rest is ignored. I've always installed cdps with drag and dropping and it always worked.
If I do it with the import content files... method from the menu, it works, but only for less, then about 30 files. If more, the window flashed and nothing happens.

I've tried changing the game settings, repairing the database, verify the game files, running the game as admin (this completely blocked me from installing content), changing compatibility, but nothing solves the problem.
Also I thought, that it might be a Windows issue, but drag and drop works normally otherwise.

I have the Steam 128493 build without platinum, or any other BS like that.

Is there a way to resolve this? I don't want to install 7000+ cdps by selecting 20 to 20 to 20...

I don't know what your problem is and why it happens, but I'll tell you how I install multiple CDPs and I never have any problems.
Normally when I visit a Trainz website, I download all the available content, and sometimes that means quite a few GB.
I put the CDPs in numbered folders (1,2,3, …..) and the maximum size of those folders with the CDPs is between 1.5 and almost 3 GB. Then I install those folders in order by dragging them to the content organizer and without problems.

Thanks for the tip, that actually works. I always thought, that drag and dropping a folder into the manager will do nothing 🤦‍♂️
In the old days with TS12, this would not work if TS12 was installed under a different account such as administrator.

On another side note, you should check that your assets aren't open for edit. If you install via cdps, there's a chance that some of the assets are built-in or DLC.

If your assets are open for edit, select them all, right-click and choose revert to original.

90% of my downloaded assets aren't on the DLS. Once I reverted assets, that were open for edit to original and it messed up my database. Since then I leave them alone. But that happened with T:ANE.

TRS22 and family is a lot more stable than T:ANE ever was. Reverting assets open for editing shouldn't cause that.
