Iced... I remember that whole crashing thing that you did. I also remember me getting bored and beating your score. Not that it matters.

I did haul a 300 wagon + 9 diesels today to a coal mine. But I accidentally derailed it when trying to measure it, after I took a few shots.

Darn... I guess I have to do it under steam power...

--EDIT-- Here we go. 0ver 300 cars, 8 locomotives (3 head end, 2 in the middle, 3 tail end), and a steep uphill grade. Sorry about the bad photography, I had to really turn down the graphics settings to achieve this.http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/3802/steamrecordyv2.jpg

@ Gandalf: Yay, another House viewer! Though I'm not quite that much of a fan, I do enjoy the show. Nice movie, BTW.

You already know my entry JRT from the last thread for entries.

Yes I know,(fastest speed in Trainz) and because of that you are front page of the magazine.

I still claim my title as most realistic Rusty loco...btw good to see other house fans besides me. Funny thing is i am told i look like house only younger and without the facial hair. I am told i have the same stare.

I want to reserve my spot for the most high-poly locos in one shot without Trainz crapping out on me. I'll make a video to prove it later.

How come you can get the MarziTrainz command to work, yet I can't? I pressed "k" and nothing happened.

Not sure if the MarziTrainz can show metric or not, but if people want to compare metric with imperial, just use these two formulas:

Feet to Metres:
(Length in feet x 12 inches x 2.54 centimetres ÷ 100 metres = Total in metres)
(Divide by a further 1,000 for kilometres)

For an above example:
(12,201ft x 12 x 2.54) ÷ 100 = 3,718.8648 mt.

Metres to Feet:
(Length in metres ÷ 1,000 metres ÷ 1.609344 kilometres) x 5,280 ft = Total in feet

Example:
(5,256mt ÷ 1,000 ÷ 1.609344) x 5,280 = 17,244.09 ft

I made a 20-baseboard long train once, but the couplers broke in 12 locations trying to move it.

Anyway, if you like the actor who plays House, then you will love Blackadder!

Gradients

I stretched a track across my 45 mile long route, and then made the gradient as steep as the maximum possible in Trainz...and drove a "Jet Sled" in Cab view up the gradient, (also laid a negative gradient to see how low trains can go, viewing what is underneath baseboards), and the route slowly got smaller and smaller, finally disappeared at several miles high. Anyone ever lay invisible track at 1000' above a route, and fly planes or trains on the elevated track ? Cool sky view from a Jet Sled as it has no windshield obstructions in Cab view. Also with 20 Jet Sleds I pulled a 1000+ car coal train...cars flying went EVERYWHERE on the Tehachapi Route at 785 mph. I layed invisble track in the air at all different levels and made airplanes divebomb and assend, ducking under bridges and powerlines, like a barnstormer. Also had 20 airplanes in flight, and viewed them in free mode, zooming by in sucession on a never ending loop of aerial track 45 miles long. Built an impossibly large airport by laying and rotating 10 airports together in a collage, and viewing takeoffs and landings in free mode. Put portals at opposite ends of a 45 mile long route and set them to accept and generate trains over and over again, every 5 min, with dozens of trains at syncronized speeds, running over the Horseshoe Curve to Johnstown route in a never ending parade of traffic, and view them in free mode. On the Moon and Mars route, made a ski jump of monorail track, and a huge towering volcano of moten lava, with dozens of smoke emiters sunk into the crater for massive smoke effect, and launched trains into it from a mile away...things you do when you get bored !
