Trainz 22 washed out after monitor change ...

G'day,

I recently installed a new monitor only to find that the actual game (not the opening screens) are missing features and appear washed out :

I installed Trainz22 again and everything is fine on the same monitor.

Any suggestions on how I can get the original copy of Trainz22 back to its normal appearance .. I tried changing the Trainz Settings but that did not help.

Is there a way of running the initial setup, where you are asked to choose the visual quality of the game, again on an existing installation?

Launcher - Trainz Settings - Install

TRS22_Content\cache\performance.conf

Delete - "performance.conf" file.

Drivers not Updated for the Monitor You have to Install New Drivers after installing a New Monitor!!!

On the launcher, click on Trainz Settings and ensure that the correct display is shown in the window. You may need to install a proper display driver for your monitor in order for it to be listed in Trainz. I had to do that with my older Dell display but my newer Dell monitor did.

Try to delete all the contents of the folder: TRS22_Content\cache\
and then run database recovery: Launcher - developer - restore the database.
