How hard is it to change Maddy25`s coal unloader to woodchips? I looked at the 2 pulp and paper mills in my hometown on google maps and they both use a big mobile conveyor, like a Thor stacker, to pile the woodchips and then feed them onto another belt by loader. I can`t find anything like this on the dls so I`m either going to change the coal unloader or just shape a couple piles and use a woodchip texture on them. I`ve got what I need to make the feeder/conveyor for the mill ,just need an unloader.

Like they said in the Blues Brothers.....

How the hell do you keep motivated? I hav trouble sticking to a route when I'm doing it board by board, let alone that many in one go!

If I were you I'd have scrapped this a looooooong time ago.

Keep up the good work.

Matt.

I'm on a mission from God. I've been to at least 10 funerals this winter, so many good ole friends, my godfather, a niece, my grandma,...who was 100, an uncle. But still the same....a lot of good people gone out of my life.

But my niece...that shouldn't be...parents are not supposed to burry their childern. It's just not right.

At minimum clone it, then in the config file you need to change the product input kuid, rename the asset to whatever..the script for demand is for coal, but it will work off the input kuid, and you need a texture for the .im file of the pile it creates with time and supply. rename a few of the tags...and it will work. The texture of the pile is the hardest, and I used gimp to get it to her format.

Again..if you can.

You need to take a really good look at Maddy's scripts and files...the Unloders and stackers are easily modified and the unloaders create demand and interact with the cars as they are unloaded, they grow in height....It's like a blue print for making any kind of bulk interactive rail unloader you can think up. For instance on her roads? The Yarn road network...I edited the library to set up each of my intersections with predetermined street lights stop signs or traffic signals...it' almost like the girl was ahead of us all.

This is for you guys that need a picture.

Who don't know what we are talking about, don't know what kitbash means, or maybe don't know how to read a script....so bear with me...and be patient.

Three items all the same...

It's a pony.

LOL. it looks like a crocodile/Alligator.

No, I thought the same...but this has all the makings of a good multi-player route. Two short lines.....LS&I, E&LS feeding the CNR. Collecting all the loads and spotting them for the long haul.

All we need is LS&I & E&LS engines......the latter being pumpkins.

I decided to make my own unloader from the pieces to maddy25`s unloader you used. The mills back home make 2 piles of woodchips, 1 on either side of the feeder. I downloaded all the pieces I need to build the whole thing ,just need to piece it all together.

I installed main line up to L'Anse.

60 miles north and west up from Ishpeming, MI...from Humbold, Jct..., where the WC now, CN diverges off to L’Anse and Baraga on the historic Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic (DSS&A) route. what a wonderful route... over 3% grades and the famous L'Anse Hill. This is where I relocated the Pillsbury Plant from Ishpeming.. On an old Depot track used by the DSS&A on the shores of Pike Bay in Lake Superior.

This route contains...

The entire CN/SOO/WC/CNW Famous L'Anse subdivision, parts of the CN/SOO/WC/CNW Ore subdivision from Palmer, MI to Escanaba, MI...and the Old Wicsonsin Cental Base of operations in Marquette MI, at the East yard and connections to the now a days CN Munising subdivision, the entire LS&I Shortline, parts of the Esconaba & Lake Superior Shortline as it connects, in Republic, MI and Nestoria, MI.

What a two track road really looks like up north.

Humbolt, MI near the restored CN Humboldt connection with the LS&I, E&LS...connecting the L'Anse subdivision to the Munsing subdivision in Humboldt.

Also got another million trees planed....

The L'Anse subdivision, when I show screenshots on this next fall they are going to blow you away. There are some grades and bridges up there that will overwhelm and please you, not rival the lS&I, dead river and planter tressels...but they will be just over the top famous...when I get done depicting this line. Still today this is some of the steepest grades on all of the CN Network.
