Any of you guys know how to do a trainz video?
The screen shots are good, but the ride is soooo much better.. I mock up a sceene..and then I just gotta drive a train through it. I got permission on my reskinned boulders from JVC last night to up load his mesh with my textures...on the dls. I still need maddy25 permission, I think for all the unloaders and stackers in the route.

and for what it's worth....
I had somebody pass me East Kentucky 3 when dermey was down at checkrail, just to test video.. This route vs. East Kentucky, this route is actually less intensive on the ole video card...I think mainly because of redundancy of objects. It's not quite the quality of objects that I want, or the variety, but if you're going to put 30,000 objects in the same view...it helps big time that the are they same 30,000 objects getting repeated....vs...say 100 of 30 types of objects.

Heard on a Blog......"On 2.28.11 I was in Marquette for a work meeting. Following the meeting took a few minutes to take some winter pictures around the Presque Isle dock. There was some maintenance activity going on, getting the dock ready for the 2011 shipping season, which will start late March.
I learned while I was there the LS&I is going to begin a coal back haul from Presque Isle to the mines and get the trucks off the road. The spur to the powerplant has been reconstructed."
So that is somthing else I have to change

Actually it's a good thing for this route.
With coal being back hauled up to the mines, for what Power? For the Humboldt Mill to pick up $400 Million in investment to be reopened by Kennecot.....idled since 1978? And as I read it Cleveland Cliffs that owns and operates the Mines, Mills and LS&I just had a record year...
This is Michigan...we are on our knees up here. But our resources are vast, (ie look at all the lake front property, nobody lives on it) . I don't mind the progress. I'll put in a new spur to the powerpant no probelemo..

Im gonna say this and I mean it.
I've downloaded and driven every route that this site has to offer on trainz..that I thought had a chance to compare to mine, including freeware on payware sites.
Short and Sweet....they all suck and look like cartoons, including the stuff that trainz sells as routes in their software..
That ought to get them all going.

Yea, Coal is usually brought in by Ship and unloaded right at the power plant, now a spur is being put in at the power plant to back haul the coal up the hill. Normally Coal is hauled in the winter months when you can't ship, so is ore... Ore usually going to Algoma Steel in the Soo via the Ore subdivision, but this is all new...Coal is going on up at the mines, and the guys I'm reading are trying to put it together....figure it out.

You, if you live in America woe 1/2 Million dollars as that family of 4 unit...and is't about 12,000 more then that...it changes fast. Your share of our national debt.

Congress spent every last dime that came in an bull**** get re-elected programs with nothing left over, they didn't save it at the National Social Security Bank and Loan...the spent every last dime the minute it showed up at the door. And it's all gone. SO if you are going to get a retirement check in this country...they'll just have to print you one with dead presidents on it.
To the tune in FEB 2011. The US government took in 133 billion revenue in taxes, and paid out 330 billion benefits. And the difference....the shortfall.
They printed up paper with dead Presidents on them and trying to get the rest of the world to accept that as a medium of exchange. We're A F'D.
