Considering the closing date for the screenshot competition is 23rd and the prize on offer for the winning entries is said Coronation I'd guess it will be 24th onwards.

You sir are a genius. Congrats to N3V on a fine looking loco and time to buy myself a Christmas present.

Purchased it, downloaded it, love it to bits, congratulations to those involved for a beautiful locomotive and associated rolling stock, at a very very reasonable price too!

Tiny bit expensive compared to a good quality payware steam loco for a loco and three carriages. Yes it includes some reskins and variations and the carriages are from a period that doesn't have anything quite comparable.

Have I missed anything?

Maybe next month.

If a non steam person can buy it and enjoy driving it and admiring it then I think its good value. Yes its me I bought the lms pack and I quite enjoy using it and it will find its way into all of my sessions :)

Bought, downloaded and installed - excellent models, the carriages are superb.

When installed the locos show up in red in the list in surveyor (TS 2010 SP4) and in CM 3.3 there is a fault showing, specifically with the 'LMS Duchess names' file which reports that texture.txt files are missing. I have downloaded the setup.exe several times and reinstalled as many times, extended database repairs done but fault still shows. I am at a loss with this one.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Also, how many different liveries does the package provide? I can find 2, namely LMS Duchess Red and BR Duchess Green, I have seen a screenie (Screenshot Thread ) with BR Blue livery but can't find that one in my installation.

Ticket sent to Auran but I don't expect a reply until New Year.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all,

Rob.

Hi Rob
Only LMS red and BR green have been done for this pack.

The 'Blue' one may be another creator's version of the loco (there have been a few done before, of varying creation styles).

As a note, remember that all passenger cars include custom interior views, as well as custom functioning interiors on the locomotives (many payware steam locomotives use built-in interiors), as well as scripted functions, etc :)

Working it out based off a price of $9.99 per locomotive ( $19.98 for both), plus about $7 for each of the carriage sets ($14 for both), you would pay approximately $34 for the items separately :)

EDIT: Just saw the screenshot. Looks like it may be a repair/alias that LieLestoSbrat may have done.

Thanks for your reply Zec, it clears up the liveries query but, unfortunately, doesn't answer the question of faults (red exclamation mark) appearing against the 'LMS Duchess names' file in CM3.3 for my installation.

This fault is preventing the loco nameplate from showing the correct loco name when selecting the appropriate running number in surveyor.

I agree with your comment on pricing but that doesn't answer the faults question!

I await an answer from the Helpdesk.

Thanks,

Rob.

edit: It appears LieLestoSbrat has done a black one also!

Hi Rob
It's possible that it's been seen by Trainz as being 'edited'/modified. Try right clicking, and going to edit, then 'revert' or 'revert to original'.

Technically my day off, but hey, I'm sitting at a computer on the forums :hehe:
