The LMS Princess Coronation Pack

Hi Rob
It's possible that it's been seen by Trainz as being 'edited'/modified. Try right clicking, and going to edit, then 'revert' or 'revert to original'.

Technically my day off, but hey, I'm sitting at a computer on the forums :hehe:

Zec

Tried that and it gets rid of the fault status i.e. removes the red exclamation mark but still unable to get correct loco name to match the running number.

Thanks for your help, take the rest of the day off. I'm off to deal with a large seasonal, flightless bird (not refering to the missus). I'll have a large malt whisky (or two) in thanks to you!

Regards and Seasons Greetings,

Rob.

I have only one critisim with the dutchess pack and that is that you can't change the headcode lamps. If this had been implimented it would have made the pack so much more value for money :)

Hi Rob,
you seem to be the only one having this trouble, I have placed ten different Duchess'es in my route and every one has correct number to match name. Perhaps reinstall is called for? John.

just puschased the duchess, a Christmas present for myself. Unfortunatelt it is an online download and I have no idea where or how I download my purchase. Is there nyone out there can help as the help desk (I sent a ticket, but don't expect a reply for a while).

many thanks

edited. Found the link, was not easy for a newbie to spot. Sorry about that

If you have bought it from Auran/N3V directly, you should have an email with the required details. If not, it will be available from your Auran Profile under Order History.

Looking at the script it is implemented - it should respond to the 1923 and 1964 codes set by the SetTrainReportingNumber command in the same way that the TC3/SnC locos do.

Hi John,

I have reinstalled, many times.

Yes, I can place many Duchess' in any layout/route, all individual locos with correct running numbers and corresponding names placed at random, but click on any individual loco whilst in the 'edit properties' in surveyor and try changing the running number for that individual loco.

In my case the running number will change to that I select but the loco name won't change to correspond with the number I select.

Try this for yourself.

Perhaps the facility to change running numbers is programmed into the package but not the facility to change loco names when changing numbers. If that's the case then the package is flawed and needs a patch to correct this, in my opinion.

I've no doubt that many will disagree!

Rob.

I've found that changing the running number via the surveyor properties box - I think it's a bug in Surveyor (or possibly in the train scripts)

The loco names don't update for me until I go into Driver.

Thought I had done something wrong at first maybe the same thing tricked you?

Thanks for all the feedback!

Hi All

I'm just wondering if someone could provide a listing of what an appropriate consist for these would be?

There are quite a few non UK users who might be wondering the same... :)

Has anybody directly installed this in 2009 SP4 (noticed a couple of registered 2009 users had commentated ) or does it require built-in 2010 files ?

Not really a steam person but it looks superb and those coaches will look great behind an electric blue roarer ;)

I've got a load of consists that are based on prototypical consists, I'll have to upload them.

Yep, that's exactly what's happening to me, the loco name doesn't change until going in to Driver.

Thanks for the pointer to this, I'm totally happy with the package now :)

Cheers and All the Best,

Rob.

As Promised a set of 136 UK Steam Era Consists

UK Steam Era Consists

The vast majority of these are for 1948 - 1968, based on information gleamed from the net and photos online and in books. These are 2010 upwards and will require the S&C pack and addons along with items of the DLS.
