The Alabama & Southeastern RR WIP Thread (Large Screenies)

Lumber Co., not exactly a mill. You do have a sugar mill and a cotton mill on there though. I guess it's a good thing they don't have anything to do with wood isn't it?:hehe: Well I'm out for the night, if I don't finish my homework sometime soon there's gonna be a heap of passed out me in first period tomorrow.

Ok, I do better at grainy stuff... I was saying LUMBER MILL, I see the confusion though, if it's just a lumber yard we're in good shape, I'll do better at that... I was also thinking a junk/scrap yard in town.

That works... Now let me finish my French in peace! Also I'm assigning everyone on the A&SE team a job. You, wannabe, are head switchman roadkill cooker. /Greenwood Yardmaster

The A&SE Hershey Plant Local, L220, ran pretty late last night. NS GP60 7138 led it followed by A&SE SD29-3 2699 (can you tell that I REALLY like my SD29-3's?). I was using 7138 to test my new 710 sounds. They still need some work on the transitions (pretty much I just need to add ramp up/down durations to the config) but they sound very nice so far.

The SD29-3 is our second most popular unit next to the SD42-3, which I have yet to make because I'm still trying to make a clone of the built-in SD45's but I'm not getting very far. It's a wonder that we haven't built more than 29 of the things, but that also probably has something to do with the lack of straight SD40's to use...hmm...I know! We can rebuild all of NS's old SD40's (pre scrapping, so we save them all) SHF with a low short hood! That'll add like 40!

I'm still working on them. I've been slammed with homework lately, but once I find time I'll finish them and send them. I'd tell everyone what it is, but then what's the point of the surprise?

Nice shots NSguy! Suicidal UPS truck vs SD50X... I hope that's not the one carrying the parts we ordered... We're trying to restore a unit to be functional again but we kinda need those parts to pull it off...

dont worry it wasn't I'd think the parts would come on a 18 wheeler not a standard ups truck.

Working on a GP40-2W for the A&SE. These will be numbered 5420-5444, because I'm pretty sure they're arn-less I will do a handful a numbers and release them once I have permission from davesnow.

I have been very busy with High School and baseball but I finally got some time for trainz! On my W.I.P. Fictional PVR route, we see a CN Gp40-2w and an A&SE B40-8w with some coal empties. Also, a big thank you to Slabay for helping me find some good billboard trees to use! Yes, there are pofig trees in these shots but actually most of the trees behind them are Clam1952's billboards! Enjoy!

Sexy engine!
Thanks! It still needs a lot of work, but my pc's going to be out for some time so I won't get to work on it until my pc's back up. I have a A&SE unit on a flash drive along with one of my FURX SD40-2's, so I can transfer them to my TS09 that I installed on my parent's computer. Luckily for me that TS09 also contains a pretty good sized collection of old sporbust stuff that n8phu hasn't updated yet. So I get Frank's BNSF dash-9's, his UP SD70M's, his NS SD70M-2's, just to name a few. So the temporary spot I'm in isn't too bad.

Those are some super shots Oliver!!! Whenever you get the chance, you think you can get a delivery shot of the 25 A&SE GP40-2W's for me? I think that Dave released an arn equipped version not too long ago.
