The Alabama & Southeastern RR WIP Thread (Large Screenies)

We got a visitor from KC and a yard switchman on his way to the eye doctor, and some retirees kicking some *** right about now.

Just curious as to how NSGuy got these when they're not supposed to be redistributed, if you make a reskin of them?

Well, went to the eye doctor, turned out someone painted my sunglasses with black paint...

Also, while I was at the ye doctor I handed over the Greenwood Local (L277) to Doug (yellow vest from Montgomery) and this happened:

No fatalities but Doug got a DUI, might wanna have a talk with him...

yes we know, these were to be tested because they were Sean's first JR skins so he wanted to make sure they were good. Absolutely no other content was or will be redistributed this was just a test skin off the RBMN SD50, RBMN sd40-2, and bnsf b40-8w.

Never trust the Yellow Vests, especially the ones from Montgomery. We had something similar happen in 2011, back then we still had a turntable down in Verbena. The moron ran into the turntable well. I'll have a talk with this Doug fellow once the corporate people are done giving me hell over this.

If you guys have a skype or something like tat, I think we should use it to discuss our adventures instead of this thread. Or I may just make a new thread for it. Watch out.

Oliver pretty much summed it up. Plus using the higher quality units in the screenshots makes the route look better, but that's besides the point. It's testing and looking for errors. For example, I can see 3 mess ups on 7019's nose area alone, issues that I have since fixed on my version.

Your showing up here does remind me though, I still need to lay the track so you can get started on the Squirrel Creek Branch. You still have the pm I sent you with the specs I gave for that branch or am I going to have to come up with them again?

Your train designation is wrong. Most trains have no more than two letters followed by their 3 digit train code.

The train symbols:
A: autorack
C: coal
E: extra
F: freight
G: grain
I: intermodel
L: local
M: mixed freight
MW: MOW
SS: second section (for extremely large freights
T: tank train
W: (prefix to all of the other symbols) week-end only
Z: second intermodel designation

Also a vast majority of the Local train codes are under 300, there are only a handful of exceptions. The Greenwood Locals are: L277 (all days of the week, runs around midday), L291 (Night shift local, runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), L146 (Night shift local, runs Tuesdays and Thursdays), and WL065 (Night shift local, runs on weekends). Occasionally if business is high on the branch, an extra local will be added to that days list, usually the designation is EL239.

[Railfanning in Greenwood(look for the rare autoracks[EM519], got thrown on this train, it stopped at all yards south of the pass):
