Not to sound rude but where did you get the engine sound for those SD40's? I remember seeing some sounds being in beta not too long ago & not sure if they're out or still in testing.
 
The first of the 25 HLCX SD40's showed up today in the form of HLCX SD40M-3 6080. We put her to work with FURX 3029 on the Oak Grove Local, L203. Here she is on the point of the train taking out for the Autumnville Yards. She'd later leave the train in the East Yard then lay over on the Autumnville Ready Tracks then hook up with SD46-3 6248 and SD36X-3 9698 and lead F771 north to Montevallo and finish her day there, 6080 was dropped off for another pair of units in Montevallo after 3029 had a traction motor go out. The other FURX SD40-2, 3000, has been hanging around Montevallo, so 6080 will take the 3000 with her on the local run tomorrow.
 
Thanks! There'll be more eventually, but don't expect them quickly, it's a pain in the *** to do the black outline on those numbers without having it look, well, pixely.
 
Hey Southern, I have a question---- where can some of this wonderful power be found? Im thinking it would look good on my route, which is in Chicago. (Interchange via CN maybe?)
 
And you dont try out, you are "randomly selected" because who knows why. They already have a bazillion members who never really hear of, they just... appear. Then disappear off the face of earth. Now im scared. I hope im never asked to join JR. I dont want to disappear.
 
I doubt you'd disappear if you got selected, and your chances are about as good as mine, we're give or take on par in terms of reskinning.

SUPERDEEDUPER AWESOME NEWS!!!!!! The A&SE SD42-3 will soon live in trainz! The SD42-3 is without a doubt the most popular A&SE unit on the line (not quite a fifth of our roster is composed of them) and this is the unit that I built the A&SE concept off of, so this one is special.

Go to the JR site, Community, then "Join our Team". Its a new thing I think, but idk if they're looking for reskinners.
 
They're looking for experienced content creators or high quality session makers. I'm neither of the two. And don't think I've forgotten about you and the GSHL Bluewater, I was actually working on that route not too long ago.

Mostly due to build quality and the experience you have in content creation

That's one of the biggest loads of crap I've read on here in a long time. Who has disappeared once they join JR?!?
