Tsk, tsk, you're using facts which can be argued when you should be using opinions which everyone has.
Sorry, but the Wiki is not a CCG.
Give me something that I can print and study when I'm away from a computer.
more logic .. and some experience , add most of the EA stuff in there also , oh! and Quake , there's bunch more but that should for now .Other than some of the flightsim stuff, most games aren't even slightly backward compatible.
I'm always in favor of moving forward, my one criticism of TS2010 is they got the cart before the horse - some type of automatic dummy friendly repair and conversion utility should have come FIRST, after that invent the pedantic error checker that finds every picayune little bug. Having something that finds all these little errors and kicks the asset out of the game is useless to the average user, what's needed is something that will suggest fixes and make the fixes, or suggest a list of alternatives.
Dear me, playing the man instead of the ball. Naughty. It seems my friend, that you can find fault in anything. A wonderful virtue I'm sure, but one I do not wish to share!
Pray tell, since when has a CorelDraw file or a Quicken file, or a Excel file for that matter be classified as a text file?
Only you will have the wisdom to answer, but I wonder who will listen?
Vern, regarding Quake 4, strange that you have a problem with Vista, have you installed the updates or tried compatibility mode (although this should not be neccessary)? Hope you get to finish the game, have you at least pogressed to the butcher part?
The oldest game I am still playing is the game of the year for 1999, on Vista.
