There is a normals map on the cab view, although it might need a little more work. Unfortunately, at the moment, there's something screwy going on with some meshes in T:ANE that cause normals in 'invert' across faces/etc (those white lines going across the firebox aren't meant to be there), so they're also not showing up as nicely as they should :( Plus the shadows cancel the normals maps out a bit.

that bug present in TS12 also.
Plus the shadows cancel the normals maps out a bit.
Normal maps mostly used to manipulate the sun illumination. If you want to make more sharp shadows for "diffuse illumination" just do that with texture.
