Maybe you guys could add an option to display a FRED on the last car of a train, like how lilb's 55 ton hoppers have the flag option, it could make for more realistic trains.

I've been wondering if minor mesh changes would be possible in game? Like the strobe lights on the alcos felix did. Could the samething be applied to say ditch lights giving you the option to have them or not, or maybe bell locations, or even the type of horn on a locomotive?

That would be nice but JR adds stuff in the design process, IE they're permanently there on that model. Personally I'd like to see more creators use bdaneal's and the author of the undec U30C on the DLS's concept used, add them as attachments.

It would be kinda neat if someone could create a metal grate bridge like the one below.
You remember those bridges that would cause the car tires to produce a loud "HUMMM" when you drove on it?
It would be even cooler if the Trainz automobiles would make the sound when they drove over the bridge.

So the answer becomes YES. When a FRED is added to JR stock, it will have an authentic squeal coming from it.
I feel like there should have been a picture of this! Heck, Paste on some text "Jointed Rail: Quality you can hear!" and you folks have yourselves a new ad campaign!

That's one thing that I can't stand: high pitched noises. Things such as not being able to stand high-pitched noises is one of the side effects of having Autism.
I'm epileptic and one thing I try to avoid looking at is strobes. They are capable of causing seizures and if JR adds strobes to their content, I'll have to make sure I don't download a piece of content that has the strobe, regardless of whether I'd like to have the content or not. Please JR, do not add high-pitched squeals and/or strobes to your content.

I think he meant beacon, the little yellow spinning lights, as I recall there was never a strobe light installed on ANY train...
The idea is you can choose to have the strobes on the model or off. So you could simply click a box and like that no strobe.

A drivable speeder with all those great JR goodies + Easter eggs would sure be impressive. I would use it every day! Not a locomotive, right? Maybe Joe could release that Subaru autorack that we saw a while back... Keep up the great work JR!
Has there been any thought about putting up a reskin kit for simulatortrain's tracks? I'm pretty sure some folks would love to experiment with textures. I think it might be cool to see what people come up with, and if any reskins make the cut, maybe host them. Just my 2¢. Love the P42s, BTW. Amazing job on them.
