Suggestions for Jointed Rail (Not Locomotives)

That's one thing that I can't stand: high pitched noises. Things such as not being able to stand high-pitched noises is one of the side effects of having Autism.

I'm epileptic and one thing I try to avoid looking at is strobes. They are capable of causing seizures and if JR adds strobes to their content, I'll have to make sure I don't download a piece of content that has the strobe, regardless of whether I'd like to have the content or not. Please JR, do not add high-pitched squeals and/or strobes to your content.

You will just have to avoid purchasing/downloading them or do so at your own risk. We won't be making any changes based on such requests.

Railroad "Strobes" tend not to be like your normal 'club' strobe lights. They tend to be more like a single flash then a pause, then another flash; rather then the club style of a rapid on-off. That being said in game especially they strobe effect is quite minimal, some of JR's B32-8WHs have strobes and even in night time the in-game lightning or a railroad crossing is more likely to cause you problems then the strobes.

That all being said I don't have epilepsy, nor am I a medical professional; so don't come to me if you do have issues with the strobes.

The P32-8WH's have strobes?

They are known by both names. I prefer to use the term B32-8WH as to not get them confused with the P32AC-DMs. The offical Model name is "Dash 8-32BWH".

And yes the Phase III (Pepsi Can) has strobes. They're built into the head board outside of the number boards.

Edit: You can see them here, across the top its: Strobe, number board, marker, number, strobe.

True. I developed the strobe script after making the skins for the B32-8WH.

as another crazy naming note: the Genesis manual and the builder plate says the P40DC is a Dash 8-40BP. The P42DC plates/stickers say 'P42DC' but some GE texts refer to them as
Dash 9-42BP.

i have a non-rolling stock request. how bout some good high resolution textures. hard to find the good ones on the dls. -inprr

Maybe a rusty, old, generic Reading Camelback with a Asbestos warning sign on it That could be scenery, rolling stock (without warning sign) , and a shuntable object with warning sign.

I do believe I have bumped this thread and will get unreasonable hate for it.

@gg14835:
Absolutely agree 100%. Also, how about some Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum passenger cars? I do believe that the users who've downloaded NewYorkCentral's Southern #4501 Mega Pack would find these very helpful. I can't figure out how to remove the lettering on a piece of content and reletter them.

I wounder if Jointed Rail could make it possible for their locomotives to have their MU hoses attach to other locomotives when coupled together.
