D&RG aquires DN&P and converts Rollins Pass to Three Foot Gauge!
When confronted in Fraser's The Pass Saloon normhart, D&RG's Chief Road Engineer, admited that the photograph was staged and that, while all the track had been converted, all thirty-three tunnels and innumerable bridges still need to be converted to 36". He insisted, somewhat drunkenly, that they would be putting up roundhouses at both Fraser and Tolland "soon".
