Silly question

Hi, all!
I know it's a silly question and I apologize for it, but there it is: where can I find a good tutorial for setting up bridges? I can't get rid of that d...d problem of "flying" roads and/or tracks.
Thanks,
Thierry

The height of rails or roadway on a bridge is set by the author when placing the attachment points in Gmax or 3DS. If wrong only the author can change them.

No such thing as a silly question.
Most bridges are height adjustable, as are the track/road splines. Set up the bridge first, adjust it to the height you want. Attach the track/road, and then adjust the level of ground accordingly. You can use the "get vertex height" for the track/road/bridge, then use the "use height H" for the ground level. Or you can use the "smooth spline height". A combination of both works best for me.

"flying" track

I think I understand what you mean, many bridges do not have abutments and this sometimes produces short sections of unsupported track. Try searching the DLS for "abutments". I found a few that seem to work adequately.
