Regretful apologies to everyone

My deepest condolences to Alastair and his family. It is a truly great loss not only in the forums, but to everyone (including me) in the #Trainz IRC channel and in content creation. He will be missed by Trainzers worldwide.

My condolences go to all who knew Alastair personally. He was a great guy, and he will be missed by a lot of people. It is good to see so many people here echoing support for his family.

I feel sorry for his family knowing what it is like to have to bury a close loved one.

Alastair you will live on in Trainz as a legend.

I have just posted the following text on the UKTrainz forum, but is relevant here also:

"I've been away for a while, and received Mike's email late last night.

I am shocked and stunned to say the least, this is very bad news. I am just grateful that his father was able to pass on the news to us. Obviously my thoughts go to his family and friends at this time.

As a mark of respect we will bring the forums (UKTrainz) down for a "minutes silence" for one day next week, to reflect and remember Beanpole and his contribution to the UK Trainz scene.

I sincerely hope that his family see these messages of condolences, and realise that Bean made a great contribution to the "community" and he will be missed by many.
 
It is always one of the saddest thing in life to bury one's child, whether their three or thirty,

Perhaps, if someone knows his personal address, a sympathy card from all the Forum would be the order of the day.

It was quiet a shock to read this and realise that someone from within our community has suddenly dissapeared.:(

May he rest in peace and continue to cause many laughs about "another" crash from Alistair through his incarnation within Trainz:).

Sad news indeed. As one who has had three much loved family members taken suddenly in two years, my heart goes out to Alistairs family and friends.
