Re-Releasing SPORBUST Content

Sorry Frank, I'd have bet a lot I had everything of yours, but 113556:300667 is neither in 04 or TS10 which are the only two versions I have installed. Google has never sen a request for it either, so what the heck is it???

Andy :)

I don't show that number either Frank nor dose it show up as a missing dependency on any thing.

Your trailers on mine are as follows:
40' trailer2 200033"1
45' trailer2 300005:1
48' contrail 200034:1
48' trailer 300000:2
48' traler2 300400:1
53' trailer2 300069:1

By the way I have all of your 273 assets fixed and error free up to 10 and they should be good in 12 as well but can't confirm 12 since I don't have it. If you want them just say the word.

Your content is by far awesome. But I just have one problem. Before when I used trainz 2006 and classics, they worked great. I just installed them in 09 WBE today and they appear as faulty in the CMP. Is there a way to fix them to work in 09. I have fixed errors before but this has to do with the mesh body IM file.

Dude you need to visit my forum sometime ,,,,

Just took a look at your forum. It seems that your content is only for trainz 2006. Although, some people have messed around with it enough to get it working in trainz 2009 and 2010. The ones that I downloaded show up in trainz 2009 just fine. I'll just use it even though it is faulty. I heard that somethings in trainz work fine even though they are faulty. lol. Why am I even trying to get this to work in something it is not mean't for when I can just install trainz 2006 and run it on there. :D

Great news Frank. Shoot me your email add in a pm so I can send you the link. I'll have to host them on media fire because I know they won't fit in your mail box, 500mb. LOL:)

what about ftp? you have an ftp site? And thanks a ton for this it is much appreciated and I will dedicate a thread on my forum to you so people know you did the work

No I don't have an ftp sorry.
I'll send them through You Send It that way the files will go to you only but I still need your email address to do it.

First, I wish to thank Frank for making his magnificent content available again.

I found an error in the enginespec of the MP15 switchers: the tag "throttle-notches" is set to "0" and this makes driving impossible. The problem is easily solved by changing the value to "8".

I see my favourite content-creator is back... Sporbust you are a sight for sore eyes... I'm not much of a forum lurker but i have to say your content is simply next to nothing awesome. I have all your stuff i believe but i use TS2010 in compatibility mode and your locos work very well.

There is one thing that bugs me though:
The engine files that are used by default is sometimes missing dynamic braking, sometimes the numbers are way overpowered and other times it's simply unrealistic based on how much tractive effort a locomotive of a xxxx number of HP can produce at speed. But this is synonymous with 95% of all engine files on the download station too. For some reason the engine files that claim to be "realistic" are simply not. I am an engineer and i like to think i know how a locomotive behaves.
I have made a spreadsheet that will calculate values based on input of the locomotives maximum tractive effort and horsepower.

The braking effort is also very poor in comparison with their real life counterparts. i find a setting of 95000 to be more representative. also makes switching easyer.
I can set up an engine file of any loco in a few minutes.

Really? I downloaded them when they were first put up on the new site & the MP15 units alias the SW1500 engine file, so not an issue (for me at least).

interesting..... Could it be the engine spec? I have never tinkered with the engine specs. I know Sureshot, and a few others I used I think weevil made a few etc but I am not sure what goes into them to be honest. I also dont know how to make sounds lol. My sound guy is in college now so not sure what horns and engines I will use on new stuff going forward. I am taking recomendations if you know of some good ones on the dls etc. I was very fortinate to have two very good sound guys that used to help me out. CSX_SD60 (Eddie) and KCS Railfan (Damion) both did some nice sounds for me for nothing since I am all freeware. Those kind of guys are really hard to find in this game. Maybe I will have to learn sounds next lol
