Old Trainz Commuter Rail downloads rediscovered!

This is something that was thought to be completely lost for the longest time. To make a long story short (feel free to skip if you already know), ZetaBoards was forcibly merged into TapaTalk, and in the process when TCR came back, all the old downloads had been wiped. Nearly a year ago, I did some sleuthing around with old archives and I rediscovered the site where the content files were actually hosted. So without further ado, here it is:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://rrmods.com/tcr.rrmods.com*

Some notable things it includes are:
Dylanviey's old BNSF SP 4449 reskin
The whistles he made for steam locomotives (most of which were taken from MSTS)

There is one very important thing that must be considered however.
Unfortunately, not every piece of content was archived properly, and some of the links may be dead or nonfunctional. In that case, those specific pieces of content may be fully lost unless the original creator and/or someone else who has that asset can be successfully contacted. In spite of this, there is still a lot here.

I hope this is helpful to anyone who may be in search of old TCR content.

(PS - Due to the age of the content, a lot of it will more than likely need heavy repairs to work in the latest Trainz versions.)

This is so cool! Thought most of that stuff was gone forever. Reached out to Dylanviey a couple years ago and he sent me his old stuff. Guess I just needed to wait a bit longer, lol. Now if only someone can find the old SPORBUST or TPR downloads. I don't think any of the files were archived from either site unfortunately.

I already have that model BNSF 4449. The model I am looking for is the USA SP GS-4 4449 Revamp from mrtrain.

Wonder if the links to the SEPTA FP7s that were from TCR will be found.

N8PHU already found most of the old Sporbust downloads and reworked them for TS12+ on The Erecting Hall

There are SEPTA FP7's on a different site. SEPTA stopped using diesel locomotives and Budd RDC's in summer 1981 on Reading, Bethlehem, and West Trenton/Newark, NJ lines and early 1983 on the Newtown branch. They had diesel hauled trains with Bombardier coaches during the Railworks project in 1993 because the electric was shut off I believe. SEPTA only uses diesels on work trains now. The ex-Reading FP7's are now at Woodstown Central in NJ and will pull excursion trains. I live in an area without rail passenger service, just west of Allentown, PA and there was a brief extension of rail service from Bethlehem to Allentown from June 4, 1978 to August 1979 on the line from Philly via Lansdale and Quakertown.
