I'm pretty sure you're talking about those at the Huntingdon Shops' siteThere are SEPTA FP7's on a different site. SEPTA stopped using diesel locomotives and Budd RDC's in summer 1981 on Reading, Bethlehem, and West Trenton/Newark, NJ lines and early 1983 on the Newtown branch. They had diesel hauled trains with Bombardier coaches during the Railworks project in 1993 because the electric was shut off I believe. SEPTA only uses diesels on work trains now. The ex-Reading FP7's are now at Woodstown Central in NJ and will pull excursion trains. I live in an area without rail passenger service, just west of Allentown, PA and there was a brief extension of rail service from Bethlehem to Allentown from June 4, 1978 to August 1979 on the line from Philly via Lansdale and Quakertown.
