Priority Markers

So I'm excited about these priority markers but with one question; how will it affect the direction of my trains? Can I assign more than one marker for a designated track? I ask that because I've seen that you can only use on priority level per marker. So will I have to assign multiple markers for each track? Since there's a such thing as Track Direction Markers, will trains avoid traveling in a direction where the sharp tip point of the marker is facing them or because it's priority will that not be a factor? I need to update my route as I made some typos and didn't add everything I needed and I need to notify everyone where the assets are located.

Priority marks don't affect direction, track direction marks do, so that track is 1 way regardless of priority.
I'd say 1 priority mark per section otherwise there's no point having any.
Any way round you want.
A priority x consist will follow priority x track if it can, but will go another route if the way ahead is in use.
Use track marks if you want them to go a specific way every time.

But there's three types of priority. How am I supposed to use the sidings for the lower class? The mainline will always be for 1st priority.

If you use priority 3 marks for the sidings there's no way to guarantee a priority 3 consist will use it, track marks will do that.

Hi

There are three priorities as you say but they are all equal so priority 1 has no higher significance than priority 3. You set the priority of the consist and the train will try to run on tracks of the same priority where possible. If you need to change the priority of an AI consist there is a driver command called Priorityz which allows you to change the priority of the consist at any time in its schedule. If you have the main lines set to priority 1 with secondary lines set to 2 and freight lines/yards set to 3 you can swap the consist from track to track by giving it priority 1 to have it running on the main line and then switch it to priority 3 to enter a yard.

Couldn't you also change the priority but Control+Right Click on the locomotive or any wagon in the consist since it will alter the entire train unless you separate the consists?

Yes you can, I knew there was another way.
Kris, if you add to your trainzoptions -allownoctrlrclick, you can just r/click on them, a lot easier.

Ughh. I really wanted to use my 3rd priority!!!! Oh well I gues either I won't or will have to change it or the AI won't advance.
