Ignoring direction markers

Latest annoyance is consists ignoring direction markers, more so than before.
One consist, sitting in a queue reversed out and tried to jump the queue by reversing in at the other end.
I have stopped this by placing an invisible signal ahead of the direction marker so the consist sees a direction marker facing the signal.
A little dodge if no cure or improved marker is available.

edit: in fact it is a plague, I can see a few of them up to no good.

It must be that time of the year with the impatient AI wanting to get home before the holiday shoppers tie up the roads.

Are you running an old session in the new version?

Open up the Session in the Session editor (Routes menu, select route ----> Sessions ----> Edit Session) and then do a Save As.

Try running the new session rather than the original. I have found this helps with weird things when updating Trainz versions.

I'll try that John, I have noticed another direction marker for AI in 'Installed', I'll have to hunt it down, it's not showing in the marker etc section.

edit: found it in the'add object' section, I'll give it a try.
AI tramples both of them so I'll stick with the brute force method.
