Orange Missing Items-Can't identify

In the past you would hold down the Shift Key and place the cursor at at intersection of two or more orange lines. Now when I do that nothing happens. Tried on 2 different routes. Am in Roaming mode. I have a mess of those orange boxes that need fixed.

The only way I know is to look at the route in CM, right-click and list dependencies. Then if you sort by status, all the missings come to the top.
