A member named Spooney reached the "Chairman of the Board" first but was soon overtaken a couple of others but I can not remember who they were.

There were a lot of "waffle" post in those days :hehe:

I remember that I had reached the TEE express (400) which was nicknamed "The Whale" because of it's shape and was unpopular, as it was thought ugly, and failed to escape before the Great Crash.

According to Teddytoot, 400 should be 'The Whale'. I've annotated the copy I keep here and I'll update when we get more changes.

I am hopeful members will continue to contribute to this thread . It is entertaining to read about old posts that have been lost . And , I am still hoping that members will help with the updating of the old ' Avatar List ' to include the loco / rolling stock names .

With a fair degree of waffling, I managed to get my post count up over the 2500 mark. It must have been a shock to the forum server 'cos the forum failed not long after.

What I miss about the original forum are the long discussions about the technical aspects of Trainz content creation and the involvement of the Auran staff. We lost a great deal of information when that forum went down.

I can't recall how high my post count was, not very high I do recall. Under 1000 for sure I'm thinking.
I remember all the wailing about the Whale and I always wanted to get a Krok as it was rather fancied.
It was my first forum ever and was great fun :udrool::mop:
