Hi Guys,
There are a few mistakes and missing here ;) !
The moderator is the NS TEE,
The 5000 posts is definitely not the SNCF Turbotrain . This ugly "pencil" (as I named it when I reached it) is an Italian EMU : FS ETR .
The 2000 posts is a SNCF CC 72000 .
The 30 and 40 are Swedish .

Good old times : that forum, the indexed avatars ... and the Waffles !

The only thing I can add is that the "Alco" is an 'Alco PA'. I can also add my dis-taste of the use of the hideous Comic Sans for a font

Well, let's spill the beans ;) ...

30 posts is a swedish DMU : Y1,
40 posts is a swedish electric locomotive : RC4,
80 posts is a South African Railways electric locomotive : 6E1 .

Okay. I have made the changes.

Now, to top everything off, we need to address the rivet-counters (Hi there, Peter :wave:). That font was just one I was working with and can be changed easily.

Here is a page of proposed fonts. Let me know (by name) which one would be the best. I can adjust size and bolding and there are many more beyond these I have available.

How very accommodating of you! I think I would have chosen the SIUYA font myself, but since you are asking I'm partial to Times New Roman!:D
 
Hi Bill,

I use Comic Sans a lot in other areas or for other reason, so I do not mind it at all.

However, if you are after a "vote" mine would go for New Times Roman (another one I use a lot).

Interestingly I can't see the font list image, however the only two fonts I am opposed to are Comic Sans & Papyrus. I'm fine with anything else (for the most part, I have a dis-like of Arial as well; but that's only in certain situations). Personal Favorites of mine include: Tahoma, Verdana & Times.

Sorry I'm a graphic designer & we can get pretty picky about font use. :D

I like Times New Roman also and use it wherever clarity is needed. I was doing some illustration work and happen to have Comic Sans selected. After I did the right-side lettering I figured I'd finish it up with a nice font when we got all the rolling stock & motive power identified.

Now we do, so I'll top everything off and post the complete list in Times.

Peter, the image is definitely there. I had to refresh my page to make it show up after I posted it.

since it got lost in my font rant; the "Alco" is an "Alco FPA." However I believe it's Australian & I'm unfamiliar enough with those railroads to identify it. Being Australian also means it might be called something else over there.

Also (if memory serves me, I can't Wikipedia it right now) the "Deltic" is more properly a "Class 55".

No it's the motor car of a German Class VT11.5 Trans Europ Express which I think is on the DLS but I can't locate it at the moment. There is a video of it here.
