I've been using UTC for some time now, and the one thing that always seems to strike me as odd is how the brakes react in different locos. In the SD40 and similar, it can take 5-6 seconds for there to even be a decrease in pressure on the train brakes one I hit release. On electric locos such as the EF81 and similar, the brake pressure begins to decrease almost immediately once I hit release on the numpad. As a side note, the independant brakes on all locos react instantly when I hit the toggle button on the numpad.
Are the brake reaction times inherent to the specific loco both in the sim and in the real world, or is this a error in the sim?
If it is an error, does it go away in later versions?
