NYCTA! pics!

Thank you! Brighton Express over on NYCTF (trainguy97 here) noted that the platform overhangs don't extend far enough to the train doors. I'll check those out and fix them. The surface tracks and terminals are in the game, and right now I'm reconstructing the stations to have flat roofs and not curved ones. The curved-ness of the station roofs and tunnel walls made them extremely poly heavy in the game. The tunnels work better now with flat walls, and the terminals are built with flat roofs--so I'll have to fix all that to make it all fit.

Green man im lovein all of this keep up also do you think you could also make this?

P.S. Please check your PM.

Subway stairs are already released, along with the benches and garbage cans. Dual directional stairs like that probably won't fit on the platforms currently.

AJS Dighole 1x1 works the best for this. You can also search 'dighole' on the DLS or CM and you'll get different sizes to use.

To clear up some confusion...

From the Super Pack Development Thread:

Will this station pack include the deep tunnel stations with rounded walls/ceilings such as Lexington Ave 53rd/42nd Streets, B'way Nassau/High Street or Roosevelt Island

No it won't. If you've read the thread and/or followed the development for the last two years, it's impossible to recreate all 468 NYCTA subway stations. This package is intended to cover the most widely used stations so that way you guys will be able to re-create a realistic route without a lot of back-breaking work. The tentative final listing for the Subway Station Kit is as follows (mind you, the tunnel kit is being currently finalized)....

The naming scheme has been simplified to help locate the stations easier. The # is how many tracks and the letter is the variation. A is normally local, B is express and C/beyond are variations. So "2A" is a 2 track local while "4B" is a four track express station. This naming scheme will be implemented on ALL stations, tunnels, tracks, etc for the entire kit. For the tracks, the numbers will be how many tracks, and the letters will just be used for different variations, in no specific order, so there could be a track 1J, 2E, 3C, etc.

Stations (will include start pieces, end pieces and splines)

Station 1A- simple 1T model
Station 1B- no trackside wall (for 'off-set stations')
Station 1C- IRT City Hall Loop
Station 2A- Side platforms

You can try to get a handle on them, but it takes work. Usually I only use digholes in areas that have both surface & subway sections, like the (L) between Halsey St & Bushwick-Aberdeen, since Wilson Av SB is at-grade, but NB is subway. With help to Scott, I usually dig a lot out, place my tunnel, try to replace what full-sized 1x1 squares I can, then I use retaining walls, textures, scenery, etc to cover the gaping hole as best as possible.

Ya beat me to it Strain--I mean susanaes :p. Not to mention this is NYCTA not Toronto. :o I'm starting to think certain people needed to be banned for posting in our threads.

I agree, the spaniard says "Más razón que un santo" Maybe the correct translation are "More reason than a saint"
O peor que un dolor de muelas todo el dia con los paracuands. Translating ....... "Or worse than a tooth pain, all the time with the "for when?"
