Northeast Corridor WIP (New York - Philly)

As some of you may know, I am doing the NEC from Sunnyside Yard to Philadelphia 30th Street Station. I recently got the DEM completely finished, and now I am starting trackwork around the NYP and Meadowlands area. This route will include the NEC from NY - Philly (Of course), SEPTA Trenton and Airport Line, NJT Hoboken Terminal and a small portion of some of the lines leaving from there. It will also have tons of custom content that will make it feel closer to the real thing.

Good luck, the Northeast Corridor isn't the easiest stretch of track to complete. But, with the time, effort, patience, and so on, the Northeast Corridor can be accomplished.

Sweet start man, what era do you plan to model this?

I'm glad there's some good interest in this!

I plan on doing this first in the modern era. Then I hope to do it in the 80s or 70s with PC and CR, as I have a ton of electric equipment in progress for that time period.

I got to check how far my DEM goes. If not I can always add it later. Now that would be awesome... Wonder the amount of FPS I'd get on my potato lol. Yours ends a bit south of New Rochelle right? I got to check next time I go in game.

Thanks. I'm only modifying an open source model that I found sitting on my hard drive. Already got it in the game!

I think I will be doing the route in fall. Any objections?

A bit of fiction here- An AEM-7 hauling a st of M2s to Newark where they will be picked up by CSX in the morning to head to the scrapper.
