OK Innocent purchaser of Trainz 2010, never used an earlier version so totally green. Great product, no instructions. One could waste hours trying to guess your way through it all. Has anyone made a comprehensive manual. Can anyone summarise where the tutorials are buried from past versions and what they are about.

2010 as with most of the trainz games are I think best learned by trial and error. I've been using Trainz for around 8 years and still feel I learn something new every day.
From what I know, the only manuals available are about just the basics to get you started. The rest is down to you. And there is no quick way to get started I'm afraid. But I found Trainz to be addictive, which made me determined to learn and achieve. And also enjoy trying to get trainz to do what I need it do.

If you get stuck, then there is always the forums, where most people will be willing to help you, just as they have helped me.

PS don't be put off buy some of the moaning minnies that use this forum. How ever silly your question might seem, please still ask as otherwise you will never learn anything.

Launcher --> manual ... opens a manual of my version of TS2009. Isn't there one in TS2010?

Have a search in the program folder tree, there might be some other manuals, probably PDF files.

Otherwise, keep posting and keep asking. Most people here will try to help if possible.
