I-Rail is my life-long dream, a personalized rail experience. From coastal ports to small farm towns, I-Rail is there.

I need some help on logo creation and the route that I-Rail will run on, all of which will be created by me or reskinned by me (I may be willing to support other users designs later on). If you have any ideas please post here or PM me. I am open to almost anything.

Does anyone know why the locomotive number boards aren't showing up?

I am in the process of reskinning some passenger cars.

If you edit a locomotive in CMP then you will break the ARN. Do it via Explorer and a text editor for the config.

What do you think of this logo?

Simple and it retains the colors of MARC, so there would be less time adjusting colors, plus the colors cover the region you defined (coastal to interior towns.)

@prre6 I like that logo, much more simplistic than the other design (I was originally thinking of an eye with a rail going through it). Are there any copyrights on that image and can I use it?

My EULA is basic; just give me credit whenever you use it. If you modify it you still need to credit the original author, that goes for most users EULA's.

Paint.net error. For the logo I have to use Paint.net but it saves upside down and makes parts of the car invisible:

How do a resize a copied and pasted logo in gimp?

Got to image in your tool bar and select "scale image". Then jut shrink it to the size you want (it's in pixels, so it takes a bit of trial and error). I think there may be another way, but I don't play around with Gimp often enough to know.

I think andrew means that, instead of really reskinning, you are just patching the I-rail logo on to existing stuff, thus possibly violating copyright.
