You will find the texture for aircraft is mapped from each side, and the part that goes over the top and underneath is stretched. Each livery for my 747 aircraft for instance has slightly different mapping depending on the texture I made. You may need to move the name text for instance in your reskin so it is in the correct location, as RRsignal suggests. Try to place it relative to the original window positions.
Could I also ask that you place in the config description text a line like "reskin of the original vulcan model, used with permission" or something like that. This does a number of things - it acknowledges the original ownership, it says that it is reskinned, and you have permission to do so, which protects you. On the download station the only text visible is the description, not any license file of mine.
Otherwise I may get emails about any reskin changes or problems over which I have no control. As I mentioned above, changing the build to 3.2 for instances makes the icon0 come out as an error instead of a warning.
Recently, without permission, a user uploaded one of my models, no changes at all to the model or files, just a new build number of 3.2, why I do not know. It showed the icon0 error in the download. The problem was that by uploading he was virtually claiming the model as his original work. A number of users brought it to my attention. Auran have removed it from the DLS.
