New Aircraft

I thought I would post a screenshot of my Rescue Services at "RAAF Base Wagga". Not to sure why it's called by that name and not something like "Wagga RAAF Base" but I looked it up and that is what its called :hehe:

Love the smaller one too Bill, great work. Even the inside detail with their Rescue cloths hanging up ready to put on.

That's common in military circles from a systems safety perspective. Ever see a firearm training manual, or a box of ammo? They do it as as a safety precaution, arranging in a kind of tree formation from general to specific. A box of ammo might state, "Ammunition, Rifle, 5.56x45mm, training." The first word tells you what it is you are dealing with; the second, what it's for, the third, the specific caliber (in this case, the kind of gun in which you can use it) And, in this example, the fourth term narrows things down even more by specifying a training round.

It's actually a pretty good system, but it's not what we civilians are "used to". Much like the 24h clock for some! :)

Thanks for the explanation and before I even read the last line I thought of the 24 hour clock :hehe:

Thanks Craig,

glad you like them.

;) ;) It was pretty hard making the safety gear, each set made by hand:hehe: :hehe: ofcourse.:o :o :o

Cheers,

Bill

Yeah, they don't care where it is, but if it said Martian Base, Wagga BOMB IT BOMB IT BOMB IT!:hehe:
Ian, have all of your planez bee upgraded to the new script with Auto-Retracting undercarriages??
More Pics soon
Am having a carrier on Ode to Vulcan as well
About 300 bboards, all needing to be textured and stuff
Next route, the international to a portal is OVER WATER:hehe:
Those fire "stuff" look great Bill
Jamie
PS Bill do you play or do you just make things??

EDIT
Ian, I just found out that your Oil Rig is faulty

Error: Attachment point attachment (a.trig0) in 'soundscript\warning_bell' was not found.
Error: Attachment point 'a.flasher0' in '3' must be found in mesh ''.
Error: The attachment point 'a.flasher0' must belong to the parent mesh of the effect (mesh=oilrig.im).

It's off-topic but there is one in Ode to Vulcan, along with a chopper going there

if you could ian i am a huge plane fanatic too, if you get a chance could u resking all of your planes with a Luftansa and a new delta, and possibly make an a319 and 757 i do not mean to be a jurk or cause u more pain but it would help in my international.

Slightly off-topic:

Last night I was that close to being brought to tears by Memphis Belle. Great movie, very moving, especailly the part where the gunner shoots a Messerschmitt, only to have it cut another B-17 in half on its way down. (saddest bit:'( )

I was thinking it may be nice to have a B-17 Flying Fortress in Trainz.:)

Friendly suggestion from Scott.;)

Willem2 love the airport assets but have a problem with the airport splines. they work ok but dont fit into my situation at present because of the small hubs you have on them. Would it be possible to have just the plain airport building spline and have the small hubs as an asset in their own right as I could fit them in without any problem using vulcans bridge spline to join them to the main building.

How does RAAF Base, William sound??
So far I have Vulcan International APt, Willem Dom. Apt
Raaf base William (or fort William, Bills choice) Vultex Oil Rig (dad gave me that) and Ians landing strip,

any rejections PM me
Jamie

Jamie, is "Ians landing strip" for the Helicopters from the Oil Rig?

If so, how about "Ian's Heliport" :)

Lots of colours there, even a Kiwi Gordon, small but quality (How many people live in the NZ??)
1084planes4.jpg

Fire "stuff" looking good Bill
1084planes2.jpg

Gotta work out how to make this look real, where do the passengers come from??
1084planes3.jpg

Alberte and NAmenta (No typo there, checked on DLS, I have no life) has some good stuff (there's that word again)
1084planes5.jpg

RAAF Base William here, although I think Ian made every asset except the forest and textures! LOL!
1084planes6.jpg

Nothing to see here folks, just the Murray acting up again! LOL!
1084planes7.jpg

Pretty tricky junction, going down takes you to RAAF Base William, left to Willem Dom. Airport, and Right to Vulcan Int. Airport, oh, and Up-Right to Vultex Oil Rig
1084planes9.jpg

Need I say more?? LOL!
1084planes8.jpg

The new Vulcan International airport
1084planes10.jpg

Just focused on the "Civillian" area of the airport

Well, there it is, plus alot of detailing to come, (Farms etc.)
Oh, BTW is there a way to raise or lower an entire baseboard??

Jamie

Just go into topography section and raise or lower the ground to the height you want.

Gordon

I Gordon
I actually meant an entire baseboard at once with a single click of the button, as I have to do that for 70 or 80 baseboards
lowering it -10m

As far as i'm aware Jamie, the answer is no.

It would have helped me too.

Gordon

Nice work so far Jamie.

Not sure about your passengers though, there are invisible stations with Railway tracks that change. Once you join up Ian's yellow track that your using, the rail line will/should change to that. The only thing is that you will have passengers on the tarmac :hehe:

As Gordon said there is no way of changing the baseboards with "one" click, wish there was.
