Nice shots everyone!

@jayholland
J, I like the reindeer. Very seasonal with a real cold look to the terrain.

Here’s another one from my canal towpath during the warmer summer months.

Hi Casper,

Incredible work all round. This is going to be a lovely Route when finished.

Your attention to detail makes all the difference.

The Landscaping is also excellent with attention to detail in the distance.

Very Nice.;)

Kind regards Frédo.

Thank you both for your very kind comments.

Here are a few from one of my UK routes.

All taken from the same bit of baseboard but with time, sky and weather changes.

Thank you to all of those who created the software and wonderful assets which allows such creativity and enjoyment from this great hobby.
It is always very much appreciated.

Hi Joe.

Thank you for your kind words.

Not all of my route is that detailed. I tend to restrict the fussy stuff around fixed (& sometimes tracking) cameras to make for an interesting ride. That way the screen can be filled with an interesting composition for each camera without totally overloading the game with assets and bringing it to its knees.

Textures are also restricted wherever possible. There are only five used in the area around this shot, but they are placed at different sizes and radii, and rotated (both blurred and sharp) to give an infinite choice of blended texturing. I never cut and paste textures to ensure that every part of the route is unique.

Here’s a bit more from my canal towpath with some recently laid track in the background.

Cheers
