Dear FSP,

It is not a sudden coincidence. The original photo of my first rock object is from Lilienstein.

Mountain lake

.
Good evening everyone. I haven’t posted in this thread for a while, having spent a bit of time on extending my mountain route.

I put up a similar view to this in the seemingly abandoned Screenshot of the Week Competition, but this one is a little different.

In this shot I've built a lot more mountain range in the distance, with the furthest peaks being higher. The original ridges remain as sculpted, but they now appear in the mid distance.

Onwards and outwards!

Great shot!
Very balanced between close-ups and depth of field.
Almost a classic painting.
Bravo! ....come sempre...

Casper,

amazing. I love the mountain details and distant colors. It's me a painting.

@ bolivar
Thank you for your kind words.

@jango
Grazie mille! Those Lago di Iseo (Lake Iseo) model buildings of yours have been a great addition. They’re not on the correct lake (mine’s fictitious), but very typical of the general area that I am trying to represent and always a joy to use.

@sura
Thank you also for your kind words. I always look forward to seeing your work in various parts of the Forum.

Well, with all of that encouragement I'm moved to build a bit more. I’ll post something in the next few hours/days, depending on how it goes!

Cheers
