Not for the rivet counters

.
Items chosen and placed because they look nice. (Screenshot not to be scrutinised for accuracy!).

Here's a bit of nonsense using assets from several countries, downloaded and put into Surveyor simply because I though they looked really good and provided inspiration to build something from a flat baseboard.

The good news is that there are plenty more where they came from.

Sincere thanks to all of the creators from the past, present and future.

this pass the test:). Hi Casper what is rivet counter?

Very nice shot!

A rivet counter is a person who pays attention to every tiniest detail and will inform you of what you've done wrong no matter how small. The name came from folks who you tell modelers that they have the wrong number of rivets on a stream engine boiler.

The worst rivet-counter I ever met was an individual who approached me one day as I was checking the lamps on the front of a preserved BR 4-MT. He informed me that the pattern of rivets on the buffer-beam was 'incorrect', according to some model he had. I did not bother to reply and he wandered off toward the cab, where I could just hear him making some sort of remark. The 4-MT had an all-female footplate crew that day, and I gather the remark was something to do with 'women drivers'. I stepped back on to the platform just in time to see the fireman's shovel emerge from the cab and whack him smartly scross the shoulders....
