If there's even a suspicion that a problem like this is on the loose then N3V should look into it asap. And yes, it is possible to have a different forum account from your real Trainz account on Planet Auran, which would contain your unique serial number. This will become an epidemic if someone from N3V doesn't look into it.
This was dealt with by N3V ages ago, Fooly was having problems with his accounts, dealt with at the time by Zec in a longish thread elsewhere on here, If I remember correctly his username was deleted and added again to sort out the mess causing it to appear at the bottom of the forum as a new user, he's possibly having problems again though, see his latest thread on Re-installing.

There still seems to be a problem with Fooly's account.

The header name is in a strange font (it's not bold), and it's not possible to click on the name for a direct "members profile" link.

It appears that Fooly's account has become a guest account, which has very limited abilities.

But mine's not a guest account. I can usually access any users profile.
So why not this one, unless guests now have more privacy than registered members!

It's a forum glitch, when some user accounts become guest accounts, which basically are heavily restricted - the profile cannot be edited, and it has virtually the same status as an unregistered user, with the exception of not having an actual profile.
