Given the way the Monorails are defined, the Tron scheme is not just a repaint. You would need two cabs (not just two instances of a single cab) and two cars, one with the Tron art and one without. Not impossible, just more work.

The way the texture files work on the monorail, make it a little hard to do writing on it because what you put on one side, it reverses on the other. The motorcycle (I cant remember what they are called for the life of me) and the glowing path should be aplicatable to the skin (Omit the logo).

So shall this be my next project? Im looking for new projects so should I make this? Give me input....

cheers

Does that mean the writing would be back-to-front? As those photos above show writing on both sides of the trailer cars which have the logo.

It would look like you are looking at the words from the back of the peice of paper. It uses one texture file of the side of the monorail to generate both sides of each car, so there is not much I can do to correct it without asking for a total remap of the mesh. Asset or burden, I am fine with the monorails as they are.

cheers

Well, here is a rough....

Unfortunately, there will have to be two different monorails, orange and blue, in addition..... as for the window tints, i am clueless to how to apply the texture to them

cheers

...:-0

Truly Brilliant
I wish you luck reinstalling trainz and finishing that up...I haven't been in london for several years, what stock is that?
Eric

what stock is that?

I don't think it's any form of exisiting stock, though it does look like it is based on the 378, as no other heavy rail stock has the wide corridor connections. However, The 378 has a very noticable tumblehome, whist this train has none. In addition, the door windows on the 378 don't have the curved corners, which this example posesses. However, both do have an abundance of handrails, and the longitidinal seating, though the seating cover is different on the 378. So, this is either a new design based upon the 378, or some form of pototype of the same class.

I like your analysis, but actually, its nether and it isn't based on the 378 stock either. It also doesn't have mainly longitude seating either.

The pic above however, should make it all clearer, it is essentially 3 Seattle CX-100's with the B ends cut off on all cars and the A ends cut off on the centre car. Believe it or not, thats exactly how I made it!

Oh..my mistake

I figured those were CX-100s or some type of people mover, but I suppose it would have been better to say what model/type of train is that rather than what stock is that. In any case it looks brilliantly built Wessex! :)
Cheers
Eric

The pix above this post -- they look like the train cars that take folks from terminal to terminal here in Orlando International Airport!!

Ish

I know! He has already released some cars on his website. The cars you see in florida and Westinghouse etc. are called people movers, because they have no driver. They are really cool looking

Where's Westinghouse? :hehe:

Anyways, yes, the cars he made are on his website(albeit I think its on his file server, not his older or newer website). The one he already released is the one based at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, but they can be seen at other airports, including the one in my locale, Tampa International.

WEN, nice job on the Seattle APMs! I've always admired your work.
