MMMM XP64 Problem

I wonder if any one out there can help me with a XP64 bit program.
I have bit the bullet an got me a new computer to run my trainz on HOPEFULLY a bit better then this .......Penti 4 with 3g duo CPU an 2 gig mem 512 video 80g sata 2 h/drive..
The new beast is a AMD Quad core 9850 4 cpu at 2.5 with duo 512 videos pci16x 3 gig of high 800 mem 4 sata2 80g h/drive in raid mode 19 DVI lcd monitor... total $4000.oo.....plus windows XP64 the 2004 program works well now...yippeeee
BUT NOT THE 2006.... darn download an up dater program spit the dummy..
any one got any ideas on how to fix this

PS love the game but not is spywear part that must be on line to do any changes an get AURAN ok

"What", "when" & "how" did it "spit the dummy" If you can give us some more details we might be able to help you !!!!! What exactly went wrong and at what stage ???

Works for me...

I have XP 64-bit on a QC 2.4 with 8GB of RAM and a couple 500GB drives and Trainz 2006 and 2009 both work fine. Along with Oblivion, COD4, Crysis, GRID, Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3. I even have Tribes 2 and ToCA Race Driver 3 installed and working. Some see the 64bit and install a 64bit version others require command line switches to make them run.

Did you turn off any Anti-Virus software before trying the install and/or patch?
