Milton Valley Railroad: 4-6-4 Hudson Loco wont' move in custom sessions.

Hello!

I'm running into an issue with the Hudson steam engine that is included in Milton Valley Railroad. It won't drive forward normally, even in DCC mode when placed in a custom session.
If I play the MVR session 'A Streamlined Express' the loco works flawlessly.

Here's what happens:
It plays the steam engine sounds, it will rock back and forth as if attempting to overcome the brakes. But the BP is 1 after dumping with 'D' and the loco brakes are disengaged. In DCC whether at 100% or 5% it won't move at all. If I start it in Regular drive mode and then switch to DCC, it may start to go, but it tops out at 2mph.

I tried creating a Vehicle Physics rule in my custom map but that didn't seem to fix it. I also tried the loco on multiple custom routes/sessions, including a brand new one.

- I reinstalled the DLC
- I restarted the game
- Tried it in DCC and Regular drive modes
- Tried multiple custom routes/sessions
- Tried holding/pressing 'D' and 'E' in regular drive mode

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Try a different locomotive. It could be that that one has something wrong with it such as a bad engine spec file.

Yeah, I wondered if the enginespec text file might be the issue. I'm surprised though, as this is part of an official, $30 DLC pack.

All other locomotives are working normally. It's just this specific one with the issue. I've downloaded 100s of trains (custom and official) and never seen this issue with another loco.

Though could it be the engine spec if it works ok in one case? It's worth noting again that it works fine on the Milton Valley Railroad session 'A Streamlined Express', just not on any custom maps or other official routes. Perhaps something in that session changes the typical behavior of the loco?

Okay, that's something else going on and not the engine-spec. It could be that a script is required for that locomotive that you don't have in your custom route. I'm not familiar with that locomotive directly but there are such things needed for other locomotives including some diesels.

Oh interesting, I hadn't realized that some had custom scripts in order to work. I'll try messing with it a little more and see if I can nail down what it is exactly, or find the script in the MVR route. Maybe some more info will lead to an idea of what it could be, too.

Thanks!
