Lost Shift-Key "Speed-Up"

I lost the ability to hold down Shift to speed up a train. Also, earlier this year that had disappeared. I was told that the problem may be a need to set "debug" in the Settings Menu. That worked. But this time it does not work. Found this info in the Wicki:
"How to Use Portals
#Pressing '''Ctrl Shift F'''... Driver. For example: If you have set the Session time to run at 2x normal speed then 10 minutes of Session time will be 5 minutes according to your watch
20 KB (3,168 words) - 23:48, 22 March 2022"

While I do not fully understand the language, it appears to be to speed up the "driving time clock" not the traveling speed of the train. Trying it produced no results after a game reset and the time multiplier set to 200.

The only way I have ever switched this feature on (holding down the Shift key used in Driver) is through the Trainz Settings --> Dev Tab. It has nothing to do with the clock rate.

Was it switched off as the result of a SP upgrade? Check the setting.

I enabled the shift-debug mode in TRS+ and not on the debug tab. Located under the 3-bar menu in the upper left corner, click on settings then general.

The item has a checkbox next to it to enable it.

Well, as someone said somewhere, WHOPEE! it worked.

Waiting for 40 minutes to see if something was successful and/or looked good was depressing....
THANKS
