The SHIFT key (while engine is moving) does nothing (both keys). I have enabled and disabled, loaded and reloaded, different routes, ets. - pressing the RETURN key while the engine is in motion does nothing. Works OK in TS-2019. Different routes, track and engines same result. For me a valuable feature. Total waste of time running at normal speed during debug. The keyboard functions as it should in several other circumstances. I had this in 2019 but there it was my fault not setting Debug Enable option.

Turning on debug is found in two places and you have to turn on the proper one.
You have to turn on the Adv Debug in the iN GAME settings. Launch game (route or session) click the menu icon (3 lines on top left), select SETTINGS and GENERAL SETTINGS and then ENABLE DEBUG (next to last item).
Turning on debug in the launch panel only does NOT turn on the Shift speed feature. You may have to turn on both. I know the in game debug must be on or it won't work regardless of the other debug setting.

Yes, he did, but I forgot to add that I've had intermittent worn-out keys where one will work sometimes leading to me thinking that the key is not worn out and working fine. It's very annoying and difficult to troubleshoot with intermittent failures.

The suggested option in SETTINGS is the Proper place for the selection. That works.
This one should be placed on the Dumb List. Some ----- moved it and kept it a secret. I wasted valuable time on this and am very upset. My time becomes more valuable as TIME progresses. However, with loose management I can probable be on the lookout for more "improvements" of the same character.

Assuming you are referring to my post above and it worked for you... where's the secret? All you need to is to remember that there are mulitple places for "settings" and you need to check them all. I honestly don't recall it being moved. Thought it was in the "in game" settings in long past but I could be wrong. I'm rather aged now and after covid I just don't think like I used to. I keep notes. Saves on the frustration meter which gets easier and easier to peak!
Hey Mac, THANKS. I leave some things in the mystery realm. It worked "for now". Knowing that there is more than one Settings is an N3V problem. I can only use whichever one I can find. I would appreciate a little stagnation now and then. Real artists do quite well with the "on hand" materials and techniques.
