Un-Portal 3 Extended rule - 'Consist 1' not appearing

I've set myself a challenge - to actually get a published timetable of trains running between 17 stations on my route using Trainz.

Can I do it? Absolutely not. Whatever combination of assets, rules or commands I use there is a frustrating glitch, generally because they don't work as they should.

Perhaps TLR might save the day?

In the meantime, I've picked up on 'Un-portal 3 Extended' to replace the use of portals which continue to be problematic in build 128486 (SP5) with ghost trains emerging every once in a while.

Has anyone used this rule? My glitch with this rule is that I've set 4 matching consists to appear from a marker, each 30 minutes apart. The first thing to say is that this is reliably producing complete consists every time. However, I could not understand why the first train returning from the terminus was being allocated the wrong timetable. Then it dawned on me that 'Consist 1' was being ignored and it was picking from 'Consist 2' of the 4 that I'd set up. I cannot make 'Consist 1' appear, so I've emptied out its schedule and added a 5th consist. Now, the first consist to emerge has the correct return timetable, although technically this is now 'Consist 2.' I'm in the process of testing whether 'Consist 3' follows 30 minutes later.

I wondered whether others had experienced issues with the rule and/or whether this might be a recent Trainz build thing?

Cheers,
Paul
