K&L Trainz Steam Locomotive pics!

I never stopped working on 630. Just took a long break from it. Im still planning on doing it. Just gotta find more then a East side elevation drawing. As for the southern valve gear being more difficult then the baker or walscheart. The southern is basically a modified walschearts valve gear.

I, and any others who would like to see 630 in Trainz, are grateful that you're planning on getting her finished.

I had forgotten that trainman7616 was working on one at the time. Such a shame that he decided to stop working on it. Also, I thought that the Southern valve gear would be more difficult because it's not as common as the other valve gears. As for the me thinking that you had 'better access' to Baldwin's archives, I was actually thinking of how you consult with people 'directly connected' to the prototype (i.e. Ross Rowland with 614) instead of relying solely on videos, books, pictures, etc, or (forgive me for what I'm about to say) is able to access information on the prototype that you can't, such as, maybe an archivist.

I rely the most on drawings and books. And every engine i've made so far has had a diagram to go along with it. Thats the only to make these models accurately. I have access to them all.

Ross played no part in the building of the 614, he provided the specific details like times, dates, crew, and ect. for the promo video only.

If you understand how the running gear works, then it's not that hard to make them work. Have a little more faith in the person that made 20 steam engines last year.

She looks beautiful, and sounds great. I don't know if she had a nickname during her excursion career, but I'd call her 'The Beast,' based on her size and power.

Thats actually not a bad idea... The beast sounds pretty good. I'd call her that.

Before I go to bed, I would like to make one last post on this thread. I am apologizing for any trouble I've caused on this thread. If I offended anyone posting on this thread relating to the content of this thread, I apologize.

Awesome job, love the tool car, and the whistle sounds great! Any plans for an additional passenger car in N&W colors with this release? Thank you for ALL of your great work!

CB&Q 5632 on an excursion sometime during 1963.

prr 3174 and one B&Os streamlined pacifics sit at the chicago depot.

Plenty appreciative trainz2006dude, was just asking if there were plans, wasn't begging for them to be made....

The only cars coming with 1218 is the N&W Lettered L&N Aux, and the 9647 Tool Car.

WMSR 734, which should be out for April, will have the Man O War "Tapers car", plus a few other WMSR cars.

The 611, which should be out by May, is coming with the 1407 Tool Car, and a 7 car "Powhatten Arrow" set.
