JRs cars turn track clear

I keep having trouble with JRs cars and some engines making the track clear when they pass over the rails. Its like theres a shadow or something under the car that makes it so you can see through the tracks. Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Chadd04, can you give us the kuid of the track underneath the car? Give us the kuid of the car as well.

Thanks!

Its pretty much with any track and any JRs cars. It doesn't always do it so I don't what changes and causes it to do it. The track in the picture is simulators new track and the car is by lilb.

I've only seen that with older tracks that use an alpha setup, like how the trees disappear from cab view as the alpha map in the window causes them to go away.

Cheers.

I have the same thing going on. It is with JR cars on the JR Detailed Track (and matching ballast) The JR locomotives do not seem to do this.

You should post some specific kuids so that the JR folks can take a look. Appears to be some sort of conflict issue with the ground plane shadow and track. Does this occur to other track splines?

Also if you could post your graphics setup - card, driver, Open GL / Direct X, Trainz version / build, and maybe even your graphics sliders?

I think I know whats doing it. JRs content seems to have some sort of shadow under it and it seems to me that if this is not placed far enough below the head of the rails I get the clear over cast. I begain working on a route today that uses both simulators 132 and 100 pound rail. Cars and engines that had the issue on the 100lb didn't seem to bother on the 132 because the rail head is higher. This makes sense to me because Jmanns track, which is also 100lb, is where I had the same issue.

I'd blame it on the game, since I have witnessed built-in stuff acting up after updating to build 61388, FOUR times now. Fourth time, I didn't put any add on stuff, and still had things bug out.

Guys,

I made a test loop using JR MS Pink Ballast Track and the ST #100 Old/Clean Track, plus a JJS bridge. I loaded two JR SD70ACE, a JR Trinity Hopper, JR 60' Hi Cube, JR 20800 Tank Car, JR Evans Hopper, and JR Centerflow; I trailed it with 2 RR Mods SD60s and 3 RR Mods Coal Hoppers.

The issue only occurs with the JR Cars (not locomotives) on the ST #100 Track. It definitely appears to be the shadow, you can even see the change when transitioning from one track to another. I made several trips around the loop, varying speed and direction with the same results every time.
