Invisible Consist?

PortLineParker

UK Route Builder
Hi all,

Just a quick question; hoping someone out there may be able to shed some light on this as I haven't got a clue! Basically, I have this length of track (next to the platform). When trying to delete it I get the error sound. Now although the track is empty, the minimap shows a 'consist 0' which isn't appearing anywhere else. The consist in question is apparently a Bulleid coach. I've tried a number of fixes, including deleting the asset and selecting 'delete missing assets' as well as merging the session and route layer which used to work in TS2009 but nothing seems to have worked! Any ideas?

The two images below show what is happening:

Thanks,

This is probably the work of a known bug.

Perform a simple test. If you know the property name of one item of rolling stock from the missing consist, use Ctrl-F and enter its name into the Find. If it takes you to an empty location then this confirms that the bug is the cause.

The good news is that the bug has been fixed in SP2 HF1

A drastic measure is to copy/paste a couple of empty baseboards onto the "ghost" consist. That will get rid of the track and the consist. Make sure you have a Saved version in case you don't like the outcome.

Hi both,

Thanks for your suggestions - I somehow managed to remove the offending consist this afternoon. Don't ask me how, I have no idea!
Thanks anyway, they'll certainly be useful if it happens again.
Cheers,

PLP
