NS guy stuck a CSX town
that must be going to a museum, they havent used cats like them in over 40 years. :hehe:To keep the thread going, farm equipment on the move...
I heard over the scanner that the NS was moving one of the gas generators out of the old Calpine plant to replace one out West somewhere. I arrived at the plant a little too late to catch the lift, but before the train departed.
I caught it again a little further down the road:
And as the tracks and highway diverge over a deep gorge:
And, down a side road at the crossing:
I raced 5 miles up the road to the old Blast Furnace. I thought I had missed it, but as I climbed the steps, I heard it approach and just managed to get in place (the railroad has a more direct route):
Back on the main road, I caught it just outside town:

I fired up Trainz Asset Creation, cleared the cobwebs and earwigs out of the brain, and added a couple of attachment points to Prjindigo's (Roger Crouch) KRL hi-capacity freight cars (look for kuid 58377:15801 onwards on the Download Station - take care to get all the assets).
The original mesh of the excavator is by alien3, re-skinned by AHSAN, converted to a load by ishie, and on loan to me until it appears on the Download Station. The plate girder is by Madeline Usher.
The route is my IndustRail.

Unsure if these have already featured on this thread, can't be bothered to wade through 170+ posts.......:hehe:
These are both on the DLS, done by TRAMP, KUID 75810, they are both called iron ladle, for carrying hot molten steel, one is German the other is for anywhere, but they both have European type buffer arrangements. You need to get all the assets as they are both self assembly vehicles.
The first one is quite big and weighs in at over 400 tons each....The second one is smaller, but each one weighs 1,660 tons each, so you cannot have a full consist of them.....:hehe:
Both have flashing yellow coronas installed and look impressive when on the move.

Your post #166 - as far as I'm aware those two products have never been released. You might find that the freight car gives an error message, but just click on "Continue" and it will still function.
That multi-axle high-capacity freight car - it is on the Download Station. In the Search Box make sure you have a tick against "Trainz" otherwise you will not find it.
However, it is not industry interactive. I had to make load attachment points to make it interactive. I must contact the original author to see if a revised version can be released.
