Interesting loads

Hi Dave --

If it's a "no show" it usually means that one or more of the dependencies is missing.

In most cases this is the bogey, but sometimes it can be couplers or in the case of locomotives the sounds, cab, ... .

TrainzObjectz tells me that this particular freight car needs:
Bogeys kuid 98966:50010
Couplers kuid 98966:50001 and 98966:50002

If you download these from the Download Station the freight car might work.
__________

Are u using TRS2004? If so u should install and learn how to use TrainzObjectz - it is the most useful tool available for Trainz and one of several reasons why I prefer TRS2004 to 2006. If you don't have TrainzObjectz, a Google search will locate it.

If u are using TRS2006, sorry but u will just have to get by with CMP.

Best,
Phil

EDIT:

Hmmm. Interesting. The couplers are on the Download Station; the bogey isn't.

Dave - for the bogey, go to the link I provided to download the freight car. Towards the top you will see a link to Rolling Stock Parts. You will find the bogey on this new page.

Oh man, we have the TRS2006 only but I don't have the TRS2004 here with me sorry =( :(.

The other item of rolling stock that everyone should have is the oversize plate carrier, kuid

Does anyone know where they can be obtained?
Thanks
Steve

Hi,

The Prefix kuids belongs to Lars ... LLJ is his username ... However, Phil is great in assisting people who download his routes ...

I'll send him an e-mail ....
Stay tune ,,,

Ish

Hi Steve --

The first in your list of missing assets is on the Download Station. It is the bogey and, of course, is absolutely essential for the car to even appear.

The 30671 series kuids are loads that the car is configured to carry.

The first three are on the Download Station; the last two I've never been able to find.

Don't worry - the car works perfectly without them as you will find if you try this session kuid 69871:12057 for YardSwitchingCo.

Wow ish - you're giving me a reputation I'll now have to live up to!

Phil

Thanks for the help, after no luck trying to download the bogey via CMP (it kept telling me that it wasn't on the DLS) I tried via FTP - again no luck. Finally tried CMP again and at the sixth time of asking it finally found it on the DLS!

Thanks again for the help.
Steve.
