Sorry, I don't know when there open, plus I live 12 hours (by highway) away so I don't go there often. Is horseshoe curve available to Go up at any time...or is it still closed except during 10-7 or 11-6?
I've been debating weather or not I should put in the forth track for PRR and PC.All you have to do now is put in the fourth track and run some steam up the hill!
I might need help in the future. What version of trainz are you using? And any photos anybody has will be a big help for me. I can't drive 12 hours just to take a few pics.Nice so far!! Michael hit me up sometime...im also working on the Curve and the general area but I'd love to help you out where I could. Dont know if your interested in making it a 2 person job
I have alot of pictures from the Curve specifically from Railfest 2008 this past weekend and I got to do one thing most people will NEVER be able to do, camp out on top of Horseshoe Curve! The Conrail Historical Society got special permission to camp out and "guard" the Curve during Railfest. I didnt get much sleep but it was a hell of an experience!!
Took a bunch of pics of the buildings on the bottom as well as some other pieces so hopefully i can get it right and get someone to make the other buildings.
I am working on a pretty accurate model of Johnstown, PA but I think the problem trying to merge routes is my route 0 elevation trainz equals 1,200 ft approx 300 meters. Are you using actual elevation for the curve?
Yes I am using the DEM so it is actual elevation but a few adjustments and your johnstown route should merge fine.Yeah dude, please tell me you are using a DEM for this?
Steve
